Queens, NY - Woman Hurt in Truck Accident on Long Island Expy

Queens, NY (March 19, 2024) – A woman was hurt after being involved in a collision in the Queens area on Tuesday, March 19. Early that morning at around 6:56 a.m., the accident was reported on Long Island Expressway. Local reports indicated that a baby blue Subaru Crosstrek was rear-ended by a possible 18-wheeler. 

Local paramedics were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. Initial reports indicated that a woman complained of injuries at the scene. At this time, it is unknown how many people at the scene were hurt as a result of the accident. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further updates on the accident have been provided at this time. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
